Grantsburg at Siren, rained out
Siren got socked by a big storm about half an hour before we were supposed to take the field against the Steelers, a storm that flooded the infield and forced the postponement of the game. No makeup date has been determined.
There are two games on tap for next week- Saturday at home against Seeley, and Sunday on the road in Webster. Both games start at 1pm.
SCHEDULE UPDATE: Due to the Hayward Tournament being on Friday-Saturday, the game vs. the Osceola Braves originally scheduled for Friday, June 20 will not be played. The Honkers will be opening the Hayward Tournament that night against the Hawks at 8:30pm in a game that will count in the Independent League standings. At 5:30pm Saturday, the Honkers take on the Proctor Padres in their second and final game in the tournament. There will be no game on Sunday.
